Welcome. I was riding through Yate on a memory trip three weeks ago on the way to Donington for WSB. It's grown since I was born in the cottage hospital!

When I wurr a lad, it was 40 houses, a church and 6 pubs.

My brother bought his first house there when they started to ruin a nice village...£ 2995 (sic).

That's a little more than my parents paid for the first one and about their second I think (South Avenue Chipping Sodbury). I remember riding a pedal dumper truck around that road at about 3 years old. Much more fun than two wheels I thought at the time.

Have Bristol Bikers disbanded then?

Good to have you all here though, this neck of the woods is a little under-represented! :)):

A few of us have got together and started a local group. Web page a bit pricey, so it had to be (sooooory) faceboook.

As there are multiple sites for chatter, this is intended solely for active group riders and organisers in the Bristol and surrounding areas. Hopefully our first ride will be 24 July.
