Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Sun 26 June = 7 White Horses Reprise

Post by MellowYellow »

Re-run by popular demand...Cracking route, including not 5, not 6, but 7 horses. Mounds, stones, and canals.

About 130 miles, with coffee, fuel and lunch stops.

Waitrose BS 31 1ST - Leaving 10.00

Will pick up at Trowbridge McD (10.40 + ) if any wish to join us Brizzle lot. Returning via Devizes, Melksham and Bath where you can drop out as and when.

(This was the Santas date now changed so I'm freeee)
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Excellent 18 so far plus (probably) a few at Troll town.

2nd man drop-off, sensible overtaking allowed. Ask your gran for some ice-cream money.

ALERT

This ride has been expunged from the Bristol 'Meet Up' site and designated as cancelled.

IT HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL GO AHEAD AS NORMAL

The ride and it's author were removed from the site in a toys & pram reaction to a negative report on their ride today.

I'm out now. Whilst my new MT09 sits forlornly in the garage, I'm driving back from Cornwall on the 25th and then into hospital for a day or two! Grrrr ... hope it goes well.

Pity K, I'm beginning to wonder if you really do exist !! Seems I've known you 3 yrs but never met.

You'll have to come to Welsh Wales with us then. Also the Cotswolds run went down well, will try to do that one again.

Tiz a nice ride from the Mud to Trolltown. You'll be crossing our path at NsP I suspect.

There was an incident and comments from another run where people could not ID the back marker as 5 or 6 other riders were in yellow clothing.

So - I've purchased a nice new tangerine hi-vis waistcoat, back marker for the use of... B-)
