Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Only thing is on friendlies you get people who aren't confident on the marking or aren't sure.
It's a social day so no need to pressure those who don't want to do it into doing it.
I generally pick people I trust to be the junction markers. They must understand that they are representing the forum in public and potential future site members and ride accordingly. No close overtaking, dangerous moves, white lines etc - they need to project am air of responsibility - to a degree.
These riders are experienced and can make their way through Traffic back to the front to me for the next junction. If I don't have any available when I get to a turning, I slow down and wait so even they have no pressure to catch up.

It's supposed to be a fun and social day, only pressure should be for me to remember the route.

They RTTB marking works well as we all stick together where as with the friendlies the group can get quite spread out.

Sounds great, have not had a group ride in ages, so I'll be there. The Guzzi got a good workout 2 weeks ago - up to Scotland and back (alone), it will be good to ride with people again
