never been to watch at Silverstone but previous experience from other tracks around and about is to get there early enough to scout it out the best you can, find your viewing areas and just enjoy the day.
PM billinom8s or lost farmer, I believe they're both heading up for it to :-bd \m/

On race day, most seats in stands are specific to ticket holders - we've got 3-day tickets via OMCC, go anywhere you like to watch on Friday & Saturday but we have allocated seats in the Luffield stand on Sunday. If it's sunny (it's never warm there unless you can hide from the wind) it's no hardship, but if it's like last year it'll be pretty miserable if you're stuck out in the rain - check the forecast and take a brolly if it's going to be wet!
Ideally find a position where you can see a big TV screen so you can see what's happening away from your bit of the circuit. Check the circuit website to see if they have a map showing the free-access areas and screen locations.

Think I'm gonna bale anyway, the weathers not looking all that great and I'm on a naked. Don't fancy 3 hours in the rain or dizzle even....even if Crutchlow or Redding do get in the groove!

If you go hope you have a good trip.....

I am going up tomorrow and camping at the circuit, taking the car so we can take all the camping luxuries. :D
Going with general admission as I like to watch the racing from different places.

Try and get opposite a big screen or else you won't know what's going on.

The speakers are hopeless, hopeless compared to a pack of GP bikes passing; unless you have a chance to see a whole complex, Dani, Marc, George, Vale are surprisingly hard to differentiate.

There seems to be plenty of room as the place is geared up for F1 numbers so grandstand access isn't an issue assuming you have the appropriate ticket.

I'm not a fan of the Brit GP, it is considerably lame now compared to how it used to be and certainly nothing like the French MotoGP.

Well as predicted bloody rain but earlier than forcast but that isnt going to stop us ,hopefully it might pass over a bit so we don't get too wet .
The wife says we are two old buggers re living our youth ,we have a choice of 2 cars or a transit but its got to be the FJR.
Hopefully a nice ride home tomorrow

(very) Wet qualifying, A Brit on Pole, 3 different manufacturers on the front row. Miller and Laverty made it through to Q2. Should be dry again tomorrow so, that'll mix 'em up again! :)):

Well we went and chickened out taking the bike ,racing was pretty good i thought the moto3 class entertaining .
For the GP we snuck into the international pit straight grandstand cheering on Cal Crutchlow between all the Rossi fans .
£65 for a sunday ticket i thought was a rip off and £30 parking for a car what a joke (although my daughter dropped us off) £6 for a pasty
Give me the TT anytime
That said we are off to the BSB at Brands Hatch in October Only £37 for weekend pass and free car parking ,taking her indoors aswell
