Small Number Plates
What size plate do you have on your bike,
Im after getting a smaller one for my GSXR - but i don't want it too small so that i end up getting VDR's all the time
Any pics?
Cheers

Re: Small Number Plates
You could try for a US Motorcycle size plate, which is 7x5 I believe. As can be seen on this bike here...

If we're going to be picky.. fitting a smaller plate will not add any power, but it will decrease drag and weight, and in effect increase accelleration (due to better power/weight ratio) and top speed (lower coeffecient of drag) - however all things considered if i eat less pies it would have more of a marked effect!Jon B";p="26909 wrote:lol, oh yeah, I forgot about that. That extra 1BHP you get must be amazing.

and if were going to be really really pickyx2.....you will not notice it on the road. or on the track as i doubt any of us could push our bikes near the limit.what you said is true...but you just wouldn't notice it......stt";p="26912 wrote:If we're going to be picky.. fitting a smaller plate will not add any power, but it will decrease drag and weight, and in effect increase accelleration (due to better power/weight ratio) and top speed (lower coeffecient of drag) - however all things considered if i eat less pies it would have more of a marked effect!Jon B";p="26909 wrote:lol, oh yeah, I forgot about that. Re: Small Number Plates
Go for it dude, the only plate u will have no trouble with is standard, or so slightly smaller its not even noticeable. But if u dont mind being pulled on a monthly basis go ahead. I've asked dave to dig out the orinal plate for the VFR4 before i pick it up next saturday first thing as im not one for dealing with police. Tend to lose my rag and that means points
