I have a 7 x 5 plate on my Hornet......

Hornet is written in embossed silver lettering on the left hand side beside the letters and A_t is bottom centre.

Mines 8x6 with Hornet written on the bottom. I used to have a strip plate but got pulled for that, never been pulled for this one though.

i personally don't see the point in having a small plate - just one more thing to get done for!

However each to their own, just two points tho:

1. The number plate dimensions are specified by law and its not just the letter sizes, u can still be done for a small plate even if you've just trimmed down the size.

2. If you're going for a really small plate u might as well not have one at all - at least u could try and claim it fell off!!
so it turns out.........sometime i do give a f*ck

I like point 2 Andrew LOL

So long as it's two lines (or 3 lines if your bike before 2001) and it's readable (ie not too small), rozzers should leave you alone...

It's mainly peeps with single line number plates that they pull.

With regards to slogans on the plate, am i right in saying that they now have to have the suppliers name printed along the bottom to be legal. Somebody told me this the other day. Also i know you can get stupidly small and silly with size but an 8x6 looks a damn sight better then a 9x7 standard with out drawing too much attention. :D

Technically it also has to have a BS mark on it, not sure what number but shall find out. So point out to the copper that his doesn't and call it quits.

You could try 'My other violent slapper is at home'. My other favourite is '0-Casualty 2.8 seconds'.
