Hi Jack

Thats fine by me. Only issue is the time of arrival. We are leaving Exeter at 8 with a stop off at Bude for fuel stop then down to Porthleven. I am assuming it will be about 10 / 10:30 but that's a pure guess. if you DM me your number I am happy to ring or text you when we get there / get close if this helps.

Ok been trying to sort out a route so people know what's going on. this might change slightly as still chatting to Jay about routes so see this more as a guide line.

But based on what I have planned Exeter back to Exeter will be a total of 270 miles

Way Out
Part 1 53 miles

That's a lot of dual carriageway. Are we staying on the A30 or taking the old roads alongside?

Attendee list from the thread so far
- Menzies3032 (lead)
- Red5
- DaveH
- Rik
- bkingalan
- Ming
- Jay (In Cornwall)
- jackinacabin (at Porthleven)

Lets see who else wants to join as we still need to consider the Covid Guidelines for the rule of 6 as we are 2 days prior to the relaxing of the rule. Might need to split into 2 groups when we get to Cornwall.

I take it the link has not worked well. We are not touching the A30 at all. Will do some route screen grabs

Even if the route did use the A30, that's about 20 miles out of 270 :? 20 mins out of a whole day ......

Moose think it’s just how the Google link opens does not always show the correct route depending on the device hence now added screen shots. Had a couple of people saying it opened up showing the most direct route which is all A30.

Ah, yes, that would be a somewhat different ride :-bd

Looks like it will be two groups then Rob. Seeing as my navigation always gets us lost somewhere and I'd like to be "in the pack" for a change can someone else lead the second group? I'll leave out the last bit from Sourton back to Exeter and go up the A386 for home.
