Hotel for Cadwell booked 28th 29th Mar, just had to send a copy of my keyworker exemption letter over hopefully by April 20th things should have eased up Rob, if not you'll be kipping in the Car at Donny I guess?

Hi I am at Cadwell Wednesday on a CBR600FX red blue hope to meet anyone from SW bikers there. Ill have an enterprise van and probably look stiff in my new leather suit lol do you know if they check the age of your helmet or whether or not a ratchet strap is ok? My GT AIR 2 is not a double d ring my other helmet over five years old now

So long as it has a Gold standard sticker on it they seem to be fine.

To be honest I think the checks are quite low when it comes to helmets. The only thing they like to see is that it’s done up they don’t usual look how it’s done up. Also I always ware X-lite helmets and for some reason they don’t have any stickers on at all even though they are a high quality brand of helmets and have never been picked up on it in all my track days.

Will keep an eye open for you in the paddock tomorrow and try to come and find you. Think we might have some extended paddock time as looks like it’s going to be raining all day.

Thanks Jay, was a soggy day but managed to get out in all the sessions. 3rd session was red flagged after lap one and the foot peg fell of on the out lap of session 7 but the rest of the day went well and was a success considering i don't normally do wet days. there was no getting near my usual 1:48's and spent most of that day above 2 minutes a lap but got down to the 1:55 on wet tyres as it started to dry on session 6.

As always YouTube vids to follow shortly (if you fancy a watch) and also had the GPS on the GoPro so got to use the Track Analytic tool again as well.

Funny you should mention that my PB was on a triumph 765 a year or so ago.
