Portimao 2022 - repat insurance

To be allowed on track you NEED to have repatriation insurance cover.

A number of the usual cover providers have stopped doing the cover but there are plenty still out there. Your standard insurnce will cover you for 125cc riding but not trackdays.

Have a google search and make some calls to try and find a provider or two and see who's doing cover, tn stick the link up on here.

I tried all 4 of them, Rob, with no luck.
PJ Hayman will only quote up to 90 days before travel. Couple of the others aren't currently offering cover

Those are the 4 that No Limits are still touting as covering trips.

Any further thought on this one. Anybody found a company that is supporting? I was going to give Be Moto a try as i know they are good at track day insurance was going to see if they do re pat as well.

They don't do it anymore.

I've spoken to Clare at NL and she gave me a few numbers.
One of which is a company in France that will insure riders for euro trackdays.
I'm in the process of getting the right selections we need to click to get the right cover.

IT'S taking a while as is going through a translation program I think.

So whats the point in booking a Euro if we cant get insured have we wasted our momey?

Are you sure they have a whole page dedicated to their cover and then further other pages on the web site explaining what repatriation insurance is.

I seem to remember last time I managed to get repatriation insurance from insure and go with added dangerous sports added to the policy. I need to get cover from them anyway as off to Disney in France next week so when ringing them will ask

I've spoken to 6 insurance companies his week that normally do trackday cover and they have stopped doing cover for this sport.
Darren stop,jumping to conclusions, on hing stopping you calling around either.

The company I'm talking to will do the cover, I'm just trying to get everything moved down so it's easier for you to do.

If you want to find your own and share the knowledge then by all means do it as I'd appreciate the help.

Right now there IS a company, they ARE approved by No Limits and it's not expensive.

So just give it a little time for language barriers and working hours to click into place. I mean we've only got 6 months to sort this.

I am seeing some amazing reviews of PJ Hayden on line I am going to give them a call tomorrow and just confirm that they will actually cover and if they do offer the cover still (which their web site suggests) then just hold tight until 90 days before we travel. The reviews I am seeing are suggesting amazing cover when actually used following injury and also only a cost of around £50 for the policy.
