Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Tweaked the route as Pips cafe will be shut so second coffee stop will be at the Vulunteer in Seavington St Michael.
Guestimate:-
West Bay, 10.30-11.15
Volunteer, 12.30-13.15 - that could be a longer meal stop if peeps want
Then The Bluebell at Willand will likely be closed when we get there so finish at jcn 27 services and laugh at their fuel prices.

Well I need to bow out primarily as the bike is still with the BMW garage having a service but as I notice there are weather warnings issued for tomorrow, less then 10 deg, wind and rain think I would have given it a miss anyway.

Enjoy guys catch you next time

Stormy weather should have abated so, as it stands, ride still on.

ONLY IF I have it wrong and the weather is absolutely foul in the morning then I will call it off.

so please check here in the morning before setting off.

The forecasts from the Met' Office and the BBC are different in that the Met' say wet stuff on the Blackdowns and East Devon, drier elswhere; Aunty Beeb predicts it being drier all round. So I'm going with Aunty and will be at Smiley's for 0915-ish.
If it's wet, well, it's only water, and anyway, I've got new waterproof boots and gloves to break in - and I'm of the firm opinion that you never learn anything by staying indoors, wrapping yourself in cotton wool and peeping out from behind the sofa.

Yep, wot both Phil The Younger and Alan said, big thanks to Brian for organising. A good day out was had and we're all wiser people c/o Roy's 'wee' revelations  .

The weather people got it partly right, 'twer a bit damp in places to start with, but nothing much - it didn't even give my new w/p boots 'n gloves a workout. After the first 10 miles or so it was pretty much sun and dry roads all day, West Bay was at it's best, as was Roy's aforementioned golden sparkling insights; and I'll say no more except you had to be there and, 'those that know, know' . . . . . . . :) .
I've a coupla pic's to post later.
