You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Re: Cotswolds ride 2025
I guess the Cricklade route to Malmesbury is as good as any to return to 'Nam (not that I've ever done that one). To get to Marlborough you could go fairly directly via Burford, Lechlade, Highworth, and skirt Swinetown on the bypass. To be honest, after Highworth the route is pretty direct and boring to Marlborough. If time & distance were no object I'd be inclined to turn left at Lechlade and go via Faringdon, Wantage, and Hungerford - much more interesting, but considerably longer.Kata wrote: ↑May 27th, '25, 18:10 Thanks Scotty.
Was planning a route incorporating fish hill but that B4437 sounds interesting.any good route from Charlbury back to 'nam?
Thinking perhaps Cricklade direction? If heading there, then after Cricklade through Minty, Malmesbury junction and back.
Id prefer to end up around Marlborough, to go past the golf course and hen peck hill but that would probably be a long day.

If you don't mind an unusual suspect joining you, I'd be up for the Saturday...

Just testing the route. Scotty's suggestion for the B4437 is very enjoyable. Waiting to see what the lunchtime stop food is like....

Re: Cotswolds ride 2025
We were up that way on Saturday 14th June, had fun along the Charlbury Road (impossible not to), followed by a very enjoyable lunch at the Old Shed Café. Unfortunately the SDR had an electrical tantrum a couple of hours later so my weekend run was shortened and ended up in a recovery van

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Got Brian and Phil staying at mine.
There's a prem inn down the road, a hotel in the village. Waiting to catch up with Andy as to what he wants to do.
