Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Hiya Brett, see you tomorrow :-bd

As it stands I'll probably have to only make it to the stop at the Lookout Cafe and turn back from there - need to be back home earlier than I'd like.

Just tested my bike after fitting a new chain & sprockets and nothing fell off so I guess I'm good to go.

See you all at the meeting point, I'll be the one wearing the orange carnation. :)):

Yeh, just out of date I think. If you look on their FB page they confirmed the bike night yesterday.

Thanks to our Jug for organising and leading today's rideout. Lots of cute Dorset villages, lots of traffic in places, mostly offset by lots of traffic free roads (I lied about the 'lots of traffic free roads' bit, but we did get to ride SOME bits of tarmac that weren't crawling with grockles!). Any downside was compensated for by the two cafes we stopped at 'The Lookout Cafe overlooking Weymouth bay and our rideout destination the Rainbow Garage Cafe between Wool and Dorchester. Both are excellent and recommended watering holes.
Nice to meet up with some fellow seasoned Grey Ones today in the shape of Alan, Brian and Artty, and a couple or three trainees too - and that includes our illustrious leader for the day who is now a nominal Junior Grey One.

Pity I couldn't make the whole ride. Didn't quite make curfew, getting home at 18.05 with some careful passing of just a little traffic

And that was us done, from here we set off for home.

The traffic had now mostly cleared and just when the sun was becoming a PITA a dark cloud came over so we could actually see where we were riding.

Until the next one guys.
