Reason enough for me not to be there to witness it - that and there's no stagecoaches back to Indian country after kick out time. Have a good time folksbillinom8s wrote: ↑Dec 11th, '25, 21:12 looks like i'll be escorting Mr Menzies to the pub. i will of course be leaving him in the drunken, wandering hands of Red5 after 5 mins.

Just want to say, what a great evening. Thanks all for coming out and those that travelled considerable distance to.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Re: Christmas meet up, food and drinks
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise...... I have no idea for what..... but just in case.
I cant remember the last time i was that drunk.... I don't remember leaving the pub, getting in the Taxi or most of the journey home.
I had such a hang over the next day i was proper rough....
This really caught me out i am used to drinking wine and shorts at home (i don't drink beer as intolerant to yeast) i had 3 glasses of wine... the issue is that at home the wine i normally drink is 5% proof but the stuff i was drinking in Weatherspoon's was 15% proof. add to that a few whisky's for good measure and i was off my face.....Add to thins that i have lost a lot of weight and it seems that i cant handle my drink in the way i used to.
Not impressed at all. note to self must do better.
From what i remember it was a good night and seem to remember that i got to speak to everybody and worked my way around the table.
Thanks again to Billinom8s for the lift up much appreciated.
