I have a file that can be imported into Microsoft Autoroute which will provide you with details of all fixed location cameras plus some mobile sites.

PM me if you want me to zip them up and email to you, can be useful for rideouts!

Well Cheers to all those who voted Labour...Cons would have upped the Speed Limits!!!

Oh well :(

Keep your eyes open...speed camara laws will now be relaxed by labour...before they could only use them on roads...where peeps were seriously injuried/killed...

NOW THEY CAN STICK EM ANYWHERE!!!

You've been warned...ride safe fellow bikie chums :)

I'm not a Labour supporter but it was the Cons (very apt abreveation) who introduced the damn scameras.

You honestly think they would have upped speed limits ?
Motorways maybe, up to 80 which everyone does anyway, but not anywhere else.

Well AA was talking today about making Motorways 80...but I ride motorways alot...and most do 85-90 anyway...

I wish this stupid goverment would concentrate less on speed (which is only a small part of the problem) and look at the wider problem of education...Making everyone re-take their tests every few yrs would improve the level of driving/riding on the road...and weed out the ones who are just plain dangerous!

Also Scrapping DAS I'm in favour of :)

Problem with labour is...they spend so much money...then when they tally up the books they are "oh $hit we are in the crap...how can we make ends meet???"...

to which the answer is "feed everyone bull$hit about schools and NHS...Tax the $hit out of them though Petrol, Train Prices and Camaras and then allow pubs to open 24/7 so when everyone is so depressed from it all they can get pi$$ed any time of the day...which earns us even MORE MONEY!"

I won't even bother touching on the subject of immigration and the EU...load of testicles that is!

If anyone believes that's far from the truth...you live a sheltered life!

Anyway Whine over :D LOL

Be Careful though...as I've mentioned on a previous post...on many insurance policy's now...every 3 pnts is an extra £50 a yr on your insurance! (Suddenly investing in a speed trap detector seems like a financally good idea!)

Maybe so, but there are something like 500x more cameras than there were in 1995 :(

True...Labour came into power in 97/98...

I don't know why...but I always remember 1997 being a fantastic yr...and the ones before that wern't too bad either!

I think like everyone...I just feel depressed now...and it's what this goverment is doing to us thats the cause of it...now we got anonther 4-5 yrs of it :(

Biking for us is one of lifes special pleasures that we have all earned...and now instead of concentrating on our riding...we spend half the time looking out for camaras instead!

Time to move country me thinks :D

I'll put my hand up and admit I am a compulsive speeder...I only ever look down at my speed when passing a camara...

When I first passed my CBT...as I've said on here before...I was always looking down at my clocks...till a more experieced rider came along and told me..."Son no point looking down there...all it says is IDIOT!!!"

So I've paid little attention to my speed since then, and concentrated more on the conditions around me...touch wood apart from the few off's I've had (None of em my fault!) I've been fine...I'm sure many others here the same...wheather they admit it like me or not...are the same!

IMHO

If everyone kept to speed limits then the forces wouldn't have the necessary revenue to keep these cameras operational...... it would also be a waste of time having mobile units on the roadsides and then maybe the police could get back to doing what they should be doing by protecting us from scum who really deserve to be caught ....

There seems to be a 'National' day/week for everything nowadays, maybe we should have a 'National stick to speed limit' day/week and see how much revenue they lose 8), would be sweet revenge too.....

How about a National "Torch Mobile Speed Vans" Day LOL :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Something to consider...

What does this goverment and illegal aslyum seekers have in common???

They both see how far they can take the p.i.ss with us...then take a little more!

Anonther unknown fact...

Was the French who invented the Speed Camara (Bless em LOL) but they hardly use them over here...yet over here they spring up quicker than I have hot dinners!

Just anonther way of taxing people :( And likewise too many police spend half their life glued to the desk doing paperwork when they should be out on the streets...

On a positive note...saw a local bobbie on a pushbike today....hurah! LOL took em 30 odd yrs to reinstate em!
