CBR 400
One of my good friends has just brought a cbr 400, lovely looking little thing, Were gona take it apart change the plugs oil filter ect clean out the air box put a new filter in, one thing though i know he has a restriction kit inside the bike i can take it out but do i need to re-balance the carbs if i do this? anyone with any tweaks or cheap easy mods for cbr 400's let me know. Thanx
Re: CBR 400
I was told that you dont have to do anything to the carbs if you take the restrictors out.. they dont modify it when they put them in, the bikes generally run a little off when there in.
I was supposed to have them in my ZXR, but told they do more harm than good...
I like the CBR400, and they go well... much rather a CBR400 than a VFR400!
Good luck with the work.. shouldnt be too hard..

I know he's out of the country for a while at the mo, not sure when he's back. Think he's set up for emails tho
