Looks nice, Triumph never seem to get the looks right in my eyes. Some parts look nice then others give it an mid 90's sports tourer look.

It has a lovely single sided swingarm which is covered up by a massive exhaust, What a waste :( Needs a high level can or atleast moving to the otherside.

I have to say the one thing I dont like is the tail light area.

And yes nice single sider but I dont like it with a high level can.
Maybe an under seat system in the winter when I plan a respray.

The can on that bike is normal...Triumph do a high level one for them which sounds the muts nuts :D

Bondy m8 that is spot on though sweet as a peach...I'm jelous :D lol

Ok the Tail light is a bit naff (maybe they nicked it from BMW? lol) but how oftern you gonna be looking at your own ass m8?

Just keep an eye out for wee oil leaks here and there...as I said apparently the gear shaft seal is prone to leaking...but easy to replace...early ones had problems with bottom end/crankcase gaskets...resulting in...yup you guessed it more oil leaks...but to be honest any that had any problems would have been sorted by now :D

10/10 bud...after riding one of them apart from it lacks top end (They sorted that in 2002)...to ride it still 100 times better than anything the japs have produced...I want one :)

Nice one mate, I miss my old T595. Great handling and that rear end stays planted. Youve got me feeling jealous now  I had sidekick do my exhaust and fitted an undertray too.

The one I allmost brought had single seat and the can was miles higher...he told me it was all Gen Triumph stuff he had the reciepts for it any everything..the sound though was awesome every time I opened the throttle I grined a self abusing ape inside my helmet :D LOL

Still jelous though I wan't a black one :( for what my TL has cost me could have brought one with change to spare...wanted a black 2002 model but they are rare as rocking horse $hit :(

I already have m8...but for me there are many factors...short list below...

I'm sick and tired of everyone who owns a Honda...trying to bull$hit me about how good their build quality is...when I know since the Mid 90s it's gone right down the pan...espically where the engines are concerned...they are all ticking timebombs prone to oil pump failure which then leads to instant destruction of the engines. (Which are allready designed to grossly small tolerances anyway!)

Honda's got their good rep from moon's ago back in the late 70's...when all bikes were steel frame...back then the compertition was $hit in comparasion...then in the 80's Suzuki brought it on and left them standing for 10 yrs...

Honda sorted out there $hit in the 90's and at the same time out came the blade...the company's saving grace...and a bleady good bike as well...up until about 97 when then the engine design took a drop down $hit creek :(

Anyway CBR600's (From 97 onwards I think) and I believe the newer blades also have this problem where the oil pump...is driven by a chain inside the engine!!! that's just an accident waiting to happen...I'd never own one!

I said all this long time ago somewhere else on this forum...only reason I know all this is from using CBR600 Fi engines in our Formula car at uni and every single one let us down :(

--------------------------------------------------

Even though I've always been Suzuki...if I was gonna buy a new bike now...it would have to be a Kazi...they have hit the nail on the head...producing bikes which are Fast...solid and look the muts nuts :D (The new ST just looks too weird for my liking but the Speed Tripple is ace)

Suzuki got the first two right...but their bikes for a few yrs now have looked ugly as fu.c.k.

--------------------------------------------------

Anyway only thing Jap's have got over triumph is top end speed...

But when it comes to riding one...that tripple engine plants that power/accleration better than any other bike I've been on...I've been caning it round roundabouts at speeds that I knew if I did on a gsxr I'd be in a bush somewhere.

Best of all...apart from the wiggie oil problems with the early 595's...they are solid as a rock...seriously tuneable...and sound like a bike should...it's got soul and top gear roll on's on em even make my TL look slow lol

I'm always going to be a V-Twin and Tripple man...they just plant the power better...look at Ducati...why have they done so well for so long without changing much...yet Japs who take them on have to change bike design on a yearly basis now??? it's cos cube for cube inline-4's just don't get the power down anymore. Mr H is going all V5 now to take em on...nice try but I'm sure Ducati saw that one a mile off m8!

End of the day...there are two ballparks...depends which one you want to be in... "Quality" or "Quantity"

Hmmmm TMI = Too Much Info LOL

What I was trying to get across there...in a poor way (as usual lol) is that if I say a simple statement...like...
still 100 times better than anything the japs have produced...I want one :D
Theres alot of reasoning behind it...

but after opening my window to let some of the heat out of this room...I just want to add I hope no-one takes offence to the above post ok. That was meant to be factual rather than personal!
