Most people asked at one of the previous pub meets if we could all bring a little wrapped up pressy to the meal (don't spend no more than £3) and have a kind of lucky dip instead of a secret santa...... try and make it non gender specific and as rude as you like

I spoke to the owner last night (their other chinese is our local) and she mentioned that there might be a limit on the size bottle of wine you bring i.e. not the large bottles..... might be worth giving her a ring and checking before lugging a magnum sized bottle into the restaurant.
