Its sunny in Plymouth and the roads were frosty this morning but just wet now. It should be ok as long as we take it easy, which we will be.

See you all at Sainsburys.

I had hoped to make this my first SWB ride, although in somewhat sad circumstances, but as Bondy said the roads ain't very friendly here today and with these tyres........

Saw You ! We went down to Chudleigh Knighton for some rabbit food and saw you going the other way at J31/start of the Exe Viaduct.
Coming back, we stopped on Haldon for a snowball fight with the kids  The snow was settling quite thick on the side roads ............. Far from good conditions for sports tyres :(

Good luck to all those who did go :o

If it wasnt safe to carry on I think its pretty obvious why you didnt carry on. A_T said that she would prefer people to be safe than to make the ride out as dodgy couldnt get his bike out because of ice.

I didnt do the whole ride out, as I'm off to a meal and that for my sisters 21st.

Hope the rest of the ride out went well.
There was a bike turnout proving how popular frank was.

a nice memorial ride out , well thought out and a good turn out. although i didnt know frank, im sure he was looking down at us all and laughing at just how cold we all looked.
sorry yellowrsvr and myself shot off at windy ridge, but i couldnt stand the cold any longer, so it was back to mine for tea and stickys.

I got there! Was a sight to see everyone go past me at the ferry and tag on behind the police bike  A testament to how popular Frank was and I wish I had been able to get to know him.

Hope everyone had a good rest of rideout and got home safe. Look forward to meeting you all again under better circumstances.
