A BIG MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TODAY, ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT BRAVED THE FREEZING COLD FROM EXETER/CORNWALL/BARNSTAPLE WAY, IT'S A PRIVILEGE TO BE A MEMBER ON THIS SITE AND WE DONE FRANK PROUD :D

ALSO A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE THE RIDEOUT GO SMOOTHLY, AND SPECIAL THANKS TO JIM FOR ORGANISING THE POLICE ESCORT (one of whom knew Frank) AND ARRANGING FOR THE TORPOINT FERRY TO DEDICATE A LANE FOR US. (THIS HELPED ALOT BECAUSE OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO TURNED UP).

THANK YOU TO HASSY FOR LEADING US FROM THE FERRY (I know that was hard for you Jase )

34 BIKERS TURNED UP, A TESTIMONY TO HOW POPULAR FRANK WAS (but too modest to realise it :) )

A TOTAL OF £151.81 WAS RAISED TODAY JUST ON THE RIDEOUT ALONE..... ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.....

(Please keep the donations coming in for Frank, pm me for my address or pass your donation to me at a pub meet or rideout).

For those who do not know the money is going towards a special trophy in Frank's memory to be given out at SWB events and the rest will be going to Air Ambulance, a very worthy cause).

Thankyou to the brave people who turned up and to those who tried but were beaten back by the weather. I bet Frank is saying "you daft buggers".
I was glad I was there to honor such a nice gentleman.
We paid our respects at the spot which was very moving (those that ask me, said a little prayer for you).
I couldn't believe that sign in Windyridge those that saw it know what I'm on about. (sure he followed us  )

Sorry about the mix up at the pub with the food and drink.
Keith

p.s. well done A_T and others for what you all did today.

Was great to see so many people out today and was an absolute privilege to lead the ride from the ferry up to Windy Ridge.

Our police escorts did a great job and made it a lot safer stopping along that road.

A very emotional day, impressed by the number or riders, especialy the hardcore croud that went to bude, good effort, this is what biking is all about, getting together, to help one another in everyway. Im sure that Frank would be very impressed by everyone today. The organisation was perfect, cheers to all who aranged it. The ride back from Bude wasnt to enjoyable in the dark, cold & hungary but it was all worth it.

SWB Rocks!!!

As others have already said today was a fitting tribute to Frank.

Well done to those who helped organise things, it all went smoothly.

It was nice to meet some more people off the site (my first rideout), just unfortunate that it was under such sad and tragic circumstances.
The ride to bude was beautiful (cold and wet.... but beautiful), like Keith said, i bet Frank was looking down at us and thinking 'mad barstewards'.

Even though i didn't know Frank, i'm sure he'd of loved what we done in memory of him.

One thing that was really nice to see as well yesturday, was that everyone had there backs pegs down, as though Frank was riding on the the back of their bike in Spirit. Nice.

It was a lovely turnout for Frank, he would have been well chuffed :)

I have been talking to Age and we thought maybe it would be a good idea to postpone the 22nd January rideout to another date, maybe April (it could be around the 22nd April as that is when Frank joined, just a thought) the weather was freezing yesterday and it was a big rideout, which to be honest was helped by having a police escort present to slow the traffic down where we stopped and organising the Ferry so we could have our own dedicated lane.

I don't want to put anybody off the idea and I know Kelly and some of those who couldn't make it yesterday are anxious to pay their respects but we will still have Frank's memorial which will be soon and Jane would like us to attend on our bikes if we can.

Please don't lynch me
