Moderation Policy

Following some unpleasantness with a now ex-biker I haven't posted here for several weeks, but I decided to return this evening.

A short while ago I posted in a thread in support of an earlier poster- I noticed shortly thereafter that I had forgotten to log in but it was not very contentious so I didn't worry; then perhaps 10 minutes or so later my post was deleted.

I may have been a little curt in my post but I was not openly abusive and I am far too old to be aggressive... in the past I have thought that others may have been a little over-sensitive - but now I wonder... were they right?

If I had upset anyone I would have expected at least an opportunity to apologise?

It was posted by a guest we did not know it was you so I removed it !!!!

This has been cleared up with Boyscout VIA PM's.

As I said to him It was posted under Guest and as we had a Guest stirring the poo once today I got rid of it. If boyscout had posted under his user name the post would have been left alone as he is intitled to his opinion.

SVR - m8... if I didn't know Age better I wouldn't have recognised that as an apology!!!!

For me it's dead and gone!

Maybe we could ALL chill out though?

I've said before that a good moderator should not be seen unless needed and theres very rarely any moderation needed on here imo. It seems that most of the problems are caused by over moderation.

For your information there is very little moderation on this site !
