id whole heartedly agree with your dislikes. Tacky as hell.chris_1127 wrote: can't see myself ever adding:

add to that colour tinted light covers and windscreens. particularly gaudy purple or yellow ones.
mods I do think are worth doing:
Akrapovic or Yosh pipes - if nothing else just to marvel at the engineering and finish. Not so convinced by just bunging on cheapy after market race cans just for the noise mind.
adjustable rearsets - tailor the ergonomics of your bike exactly to suit you, and get better engineered and finished components whilst your about it. gilles rearsets are things of great beauty and once youve used a set the unadjustable stock pegs just arent good enough.
Braided brake lines - race pads. For the sole reason that anything that improves braking is a good thing.

new Indicators
the next things will be a dyno run and set up and possibly a suspension set up,
will wait for the buell's mods to be finnished then book both in!!!
