Cardiff - 20 miles A48 /B4268

Birmingham - 80 miles M5 / M50 / A 4119 / M4 /A48 /B4268

London - 125 miles M4 / A48 / B 4268

Type of Track:

Llandow track is a fantastic place to learn. Have a look at the video to see the track. (its the later half of the video ok)

http://www.jayadair.com/video/llandow_2003.wmv

The track has been newly resurfaced to MSA Sprint standard
The venue is available for exclusive hire - club event days, track days, car & bike testing, MSA sprints, product launches, driver training or book into a test session.

Circuit Details

Length = 1450m
Width = 9m

A technically challenging circuit with both left and right hand bends - suitable for both cars & bikes

The Circuit is now available for private and club hire, testing and MSA Sprints. Track days for motorbikes and cars are becoming very popular when the circuit can be used both clockwise and anti clockwise (but not at the same time!). MSA licence holders can book half or full test days on most Tuesdays and Thursdays with instructor's days also periodically organised.

Clothing:

On the clothing side, IT HAS TO BE, 1 piece suit or FULL ZIP TOGETHER 2 piece ok. You also have to tape up the following: Front and rear lights, mirrors, indicators.

DONT FORGET YOUR LICENCE EITHER.

The Day:

The day starts normally at 9.30pm and we finish at around 5.30pm, hopefully (with no crashes from anyone) you will have 7 x 15 minute sessions). Last year I think we were all there for about 08.30am

If Possible Please Don’t:

Best not to ride there, either get a van or trailer or something to get you there but don’t ride.

Camping The Night Before or B & B or Hotels

Most of us are going up on the Thursday afternoon as we are camping in the campsite about 200 yards from the track.

Noise Restrictions:

As far as I am aware there is no noise restriction as the track is in the middle of no-where.

Most Important for Novice Track Day Riders:

Do not get worried about it, I was shitting my pants last year over nothing, within seconds of being on the track it is the best thrill you will ever have, its fantastic. Just ride for yourself and no one else.

Myself, Age and Webber & others will be around on the day for any problems or questions you may have.

If there are noise restrictions, you may have to find a way of silencing Phil. :lol:

what it does not show you is the left side of the track is on a slight down hill slope.
