Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Post by aha-shake »

Anyone in Somerset fancy going for a ride out anytime during the week starting the third of July (incl w/e).

Really would like to go for a spin with some like minded bikers, just a bit of fun nothing huge.

Come on people the weather will be good!

looking at the difference in bikes on this thread, u lot had better say what u r riding so a sensible route can be planned. if u head off street way or blandford way, some of the smaller ones wont keep up.

:o Been ages since I posted in here!

New tyre and brake pads permitting, I should be up for this one, but will have to be back for 6 to get to work.

For those (that's most of you) that don't know, I'm the big [censored] on the Thundercat.

Summary

Post by aha-shake »

Ok... so from the looks of things, people who can probably make it are:

Bandit (castle cary) Rides a 600? Bandit.

Me (Langport) Rides a 125 Varadero, 70-75mph :?

Rookie (Somewhere near the bridgwater wilderness) Rides a 600 Thundercat

Iggy (Yeovil) Rides a ZX6R, or somethin 8)

and

billinom8s (teignmouth) Rides something mean looking.

Apart from billienom8s Id say we're kinda of all circled around the Street/Glastonbury area so this is probably a good place to meet.

This could be a fun weekend razz if everyones up for it, if anyones got any ideas on possible routes then say so, but me and rookie thought swinging by cheddar possibly?

But then again possibly not  so, tell me what you think!

Cheers all,

shake

I'm definitely up for a ride during the week sometime, I need to test this new luggage I have just put on my hayabusa.
Would be nice to meet new people from these forums.
I'm halfway between Bridgwater and Glastonbury.
