Techs....

Post by Jewell »

Like to say not a bad job by ****** of changing over frames on my TLS last month before i crashed it

found only 3 things wrong.Temp was reading wrong, exhaust blowing abit and some bolts loose

i was expecting a few probs but not as many as id planned.

still not gunna use them tho as the man behind the desk was a complete muppet.

me:mate,my bikes been running for 15 mins and its only 25 celcius,it should be around 80ish mark, can i speak to a tech please?
thick mug:nah thats normal mate....its fine

thats what really annoyed me^^^^^......its my bike...i know how long it takes to warm up you [Censored] pleb. And what bike needs 15 mins idling up to its recommended temp in the boiling sun!common sense obviously hadn't found this lost soul yet...bless
my reply was: is it fu.ck...

he then got really funny telling me to chill....and went off to get a tech..came back with one and the tech said "no mate it is wrong" making him look a knob.

Cant get the service you used to....

o yes the ****** tech department.

My dad took the rocket in to have an OIL leak sorted. 3 hour went buy. well we have wiped the oil off and ridden the bike but now we can't find the oil leak we suggest you keep riding it and keep an eye on it. same with the abnormal transmision noises we may have found but we arn't really sure.

also when i picked up my CBR125R brand new. walked around the bike. whats this on the RH faring and belly pan. a Crack and a piece missing from the belly pan. Bloke: we hadn't seen that we will order a replacement.. like hell you haven't there's a peice of cloth in there where you've tried to clean it off.

Test Rode a daytona 600 back in Feb. walked back in the showroom after riding it.
DAD:whats that on your shoe
ME: looks like water
DAD: looks like Oil

dad checks the left hand transmion casing and it's covered in oil where the havn't checked it. MMM that nice lend me a bike with an oil leak

Dad gets his speedmaster back from a "service" checks the oil and its got twice the amount it should have. they have also done the clutch up stupidly tight.

Why remove the garage name ?

If they are making mistakes people have a right to know, and can then decide whether to use them or not.

If someone from that garage reads this then maybe they will kick some a$$ and improve their customer service.

We as SWB do not want anychance of getting caught up in arguments with Garages, If you need to find out who this concerns pm the Topic starter.

Sounds like censorship to me, or is this particular garage a "supporter" of SWB ?

I'm sure we, as members of SWB, would like to know who it is.

Yeah but like, in all fairing 'Slander' is against the law, and for another group/society/establishment to commit that would be unfavourable to said people...

That said, it's by name only - that's as far as the law goes.
Also, the law only restricts the comments given that would be seen as to divert people away from business, like "Don't go there".
Personal opinions are another matter, and comply with 'Freedom of speech' and whatnot...

I personally think that, the garage on the corner of Alphington road, by the roundabout sucks :)
