somewhat pissed off! Rant
drove through to plymouth yesterday to look at a bike. did the usual stuff, checked it out, took for test ride. agreed sale with owner, with the one issue of not full cash on me at the time. Agreed with seller to leave 200 quid deposit to secure the bike and pay the rest on collection. sale agreed, money paid, receipt given. Now I find a txt on my phone to say bike sold! I am currently coming back down from 50,000 feet and somewhat annoyed. Being a rather placid type of bloke! didn't think for a minute to get in car and go over there! What the Feck!!!!? Handshake and written agreement not enough anymore!?

IF it was a REALLY good deal, I'd force the issue - if you have a written receipt for your deposit, then he has entered into a legal and binding contract ......
If you're not that fussed, then as a good-will gesture he should at least re-imburse you for your time and fuel costs ...
Before going down that route though, talk softly and make sure you get your deposit back .. then when it's in your hand start talking about "inconvenience" costs
T*ssers like that deserve to get strung up - probably a good job you're a reasonable distance away from him

Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

Bike was an NC30. I know what I'm looking for in that respect, love nc30's!
as for sending maver-nick round, trust me, I'm not someone to piss off!
I'm trying to keep myself legal and above board!
Have now spent an evening in the vic bars,Newquay and calmed down. will speak to the twat(seller) in the morning. hope he values his knee caps
