Hi Phill

Welcome to the forum. There is some names..... If you were out riding with those guys then you really know how to ride. I have been on rides with Rik but have learned to try not to keep up.

I work at TNT so also know Colin as he works there as well

Layne is a friking rocket up until he sold his track fireblade to Rik

Hope that you enjoy the forum lots of activity on here and as we unlock from Covid 19 there is normally ride outs every week and regular pub meets (when we are allowed)

Great to have you with us

Hi Menzies3032
Hahaha, you made me laugh, great guys, good rides, fun times, but they were fast and it usually ended badly for someone, but i wouldn't quite put myself in there league, i went out 4 or 5 times with them, there used to be a fella ride out with Honda cb500 and he bent that thing all out of shape trying to keep up with the pack, which in all fairness he never fell to far behind, Layne had a MV f3, Rik had a KTM Super Duke 990 and that bike went, Colin Rsv4, Tony a mille, Chris a K5, As much fun as those rides were I'm not looking for rides like that anymore, wise words, ride your own ride, don't go beyond your own ability trying to keep up.

Hi Phil, yeah, most of those guys are now on pedal power (think it's a spandex and woods thing).

Welcome back onto the forum, it's still pretty relaxed and anyone can organise a run and run at their pace.

I think you're talking about 6th gear with the CB, he stacked that and took up kite surfing or something.

At Llandow if I remember correctly. He was trying to outbrake Julian on his cbr6 into the bus stop and it went a bit wrong 🤣🤣
I remember coming onto the back straight and seeing the dust cloud ahead and a very second hand looking cb500.
