1st time at Knockhill for me.
Anybody else going?
Not decided which bike to take Z1000DAF or KTM690SMCR? Any thoughts from those who have been there?
Doing Oulton a couple of days before so will have to be same bike for both....

Ok went there and loved it. The tv & videos do not do it justice, it's a fantastic track with big elevation changes, the track was well marked out with multiple cones to aid brake and turn-in points. Was booked to do Inters, but it was wet when got there and so I switched to slow group which I think was right decision for me.
The track flows superbly.
I would recommend it if you're willing to travel the distance, doing it whilst also doing another part way is best bet.
Locals are friendly and only too willing to help with line advice.
Good on site facilities, but pit garage is just one big tin shed with everybody in there but does help with interaction with others. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere including all the staff as well as participants.

Re: Knockhill 30th June 2022
I did Knockhill years ago on my old CBR600RR, what a great little track with great elevation changes.
I'd like to do it on a 1000cc now

At least 2 of us are intending to do it about the same next year. Will put up a new thread when planning starts.

Never done it. Would be interesting to do one day. From what i see from the BSB rounds looks a very interesting track with lots of undulation and camber changes. Only thing living in Devon is it is one hell of a drive to get there so might go for some of the closer tracks first.

hmmm, went to Croft last year and found it one hell of a journey, Knock Hill would be an absolute epic. Maybe a bucket list do it once if you're going next year sometime. Possible to do Knock Hill, Croft and Cadwell in a week to allow travel, rest and track time....
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..
Re: Knockhill 30th June 2022
We did Oulton -> Knockhill only for this one because we couldn't make Croft dates tie in, next year we're hoping to be able to do Croft as well. Else maybe do double at Knockhill because they frequently have days with just 1 day in between.
