Important Govt Survey

Post by DaveH »

Right now, the government is conducting an Integrated Transport Consultation, seeking public input on the future of transport.

It is critical that motorcyclists make their voice heard by responding to the consultation using this online survey https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/PG2JMU/ but this opportunity won’t last long with the consultation closing on 20 February 2025.

The structure of the questions are designed to suit a certain narrative so it is critical to get across the importance of including all transport modes, including motorcycling, in national and local transport policies alongside a considered strategy for each, so that the benefits of a truly integrated transport strategy can be realised. There are opportunities within the questions to explain what motorcycling means to you and what would improve your experience when riding.

Done. I was surprised it didn't ask me who I am? How do they know that just a few zealots won't hijack the survey?

Thats an interesting one ..... subsequent questions vary depending on your answers to the preceding one. I started answering identified as the frontline transport worker that I am, and it started targetting me with questions specific to that sector ....... I went back and identified as a member of public and it fed me a whole different question set ....... :-? 8-}
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
