Fair play to that speed. I was trapped by an illegally parked Scamera van, doing 70 in a 50 iirc. 3 pts £60 of donuts. Luckily i was hard on a set of NSX brakes that made sure i only got a 70 mph ticket

I got banned for a year at 19 can't exactly remember the fine think it was about £400- £ 500.

I had 11 points when I got clocked doing over 70 in a double parked 30 zone I came over the brow doing about 90 odd on my RD350 ypvs - instantly saw the bloke with the gun and manged to slow it into the mid 70's for the gun reading.

They prosecuted me for speeding and wreckless driving. I was expecting a 6 month ban, I thought there was a possibility I could get away with 3, I was gobsmacked when the judge told me I obviously had a blatent disregard for the law and banned me for a year.

I deserved it though I was a nut on a motorbike in my teens. Good things came out of it though started to run the 5 miles to work and back, and it got me hooked on doing sports to pass the time.

8) New yrs day 1990 past trago mills A38 0635hrs pulled by a Lotus Carlton video'd booked for 149.7 on a GSXR1100 1989 bike went to court recieved ?850 fine ?75 costs and banned for 28 days but I was allowed to keep my HGV licence after the ban (that was nice of them) The Officer stood in court an said I was in full control of the vehicle conditions dry no other vehicles on the road but I broke the law and the Magistrate passed sentence. It's life. 8) I struggled with the fine though never been caught since(final last words)

that could only really be bettered if you had wiped your old fella on his living room curtains after said jiggyness

never been caught speeding - yet - but did get hauled for running a red (blatantly orange!!) light. Alphington road at rush hour, police car coming the other way turns in the road, then follows me blue lights flashing down the middle of 2 lanes into the face of oncoming traffic at 40mph (him, not me), pulls me in and says "do you realise how dangerous what you just did was???" pot, kettle, anyone?

my favourite one i heard was a mate who was clocked at 130mph on Ideford Dip on the a380, red faced copper asks him "who do you think you are, barry schwantz???" six week ban and a fine though so he didnt laugh that much!!

Been caught for doing 125MPH down the link road from the M5>Tivvy. Copper let me go with a warning... Nice bloke. It was a totally open dry 2 laned road. I've been lucky so far, Gone past a few scameras doing over 120 which never flashed.

I'm off to the forest to touch some wood. be back later.

41 in a 30 in 2000, 40 pound fine and 3 points.

Very close shave over a hump back bridge in a 30, had my dog in the back so was driving carefully. Normally i would've been doing 50 to see if i got airborn, which you can do on this bridge  Police with hair dryer on the other side

Why won't it put the pound sign in?????

That road is brilliant, i have done 155 in a car down there, and the same on a bike! (This never really happened obviously)
