Hello bikers

Post by Jonny »

Hi there,

my names Jonny and I am soon to be 19, live in Abbotskerswell and work in Newton Abbot (in the council offices).

I've been rideing a 1984 Suzuki GSX550EF since I was just 17 (through all seasons). All my biker mates have gone off traveling in their gap years and I am getting bored of riding on my own.

I am probably going to start reguraly attending rideouts (if I can keep up). I'm looking to upgrade to a 750cc next month when my liscence is de-restricted. Probably a ZX7R or GSXR750 from 1995-2000. I'm finding the 60bhp or so that my current bike is making a bit dull.

look forward to getting thrashed by you all in the next ride out.

Yeah well what are you gona do? I've been issued a producer twice by police and neither times was restricting certificates mentioned, I know several people in similar positions to me and none of them have had any issues with the bhp of their bikes. The only time I have ever heard of the police checking is when you are speeding exesivley, and of course I dont do that

Welcome to SWB :D I hope we see you soon. :)

If you can afford to insure it - ZX7R is what you need 8) . Too many Gixers on this site already and need balancing out. :)
