New mobile phone help needed please

Post by Mike Daytona600 »

I've just bought a Sony Ericsson K750i. The book says it supports MP4 and the demo vid on the phone is MP4 which plays fine. However I've been trying to download a MP4 clip to it but when I play it back all I get is the sound, not the picture/video.

I've tried everything I can think of but no cigar. It's one of those typical PC things when it should work but doesn't.

So could someone please help before my nice new phone goes through my PC monitor

Do you need codecs to be able to play MP4s?

As for ringtones, just download any MP3 song and use it as the ringtone, if its a TV theme or anything just google it, theres loads of sites with MP3 clips and sound affects around ;)

Probably to do with the resolution of the video file, It wont scale so the file will need to be the correct size.

It needs to be 176x144, you'll need to convert it. Nero works well or I'm sure theres loads of free programs out there too
