I can give free neuropsychological examinations to anyone instead...at least you'll know your brain could handle the speed

What a load of bollocks it'll never happen, the waiting list for a psychiatric examination is long enough anyway, any psychiatrist would know they're wasting their time.

They would have to make this completely general as the underlying cognitions surrounding why a person speeds would also be general, the only thing i can think of is that maybe bikers need more of a 'hit' of speed as it is what we are used to or the reason we got into biking in the first place, this however would most likely be found to an extent in everybody.

However I can safely say that there would need to be more research conducted into the mentality of speed before a stupid and inefficiant law like this was passed.

this is a course that has been trialled and on offer down this way for some time now

a university study found that high speed bike riders were responding well to courses that make you more aware of your actions, and the possible reuslts etc

your treated like someone with an addiction to speed, thats the moving type of speed before anyone asks

and form my experience its in place of the points and fine, not in addition

its been trialled here and apparantly now theres 3-4 other areas of the UK going to trial it

Maybe thay could also treat the car drivers who have a fear of opening their f'ing eyes, or the farmers trying to impail someone with the bloody gurt spikes sticking out the front of their tractors (my car wouldn't pass an MOT with a spike like that welded to the bonet), or even the coppers who say they're testing their new car to see how fast it will go for being a compleate dumb fookwit.

They could even have a test for the dumbarse who came up with the idea of speed camaras but was to stupid to think that they might cause iratic, unessacery braking to to mention the fact of people looking at their speedo instead of where they're going.
