It`s been announced that there will be a total..no exception..ban on mobile phones in the UK.
They will be rendered completely inactive via shutting down of all transmissions masts and an interference waveband being used around the UK.
Sale of mobile phones will cease completely from the date of this action.
This national ban is in response to the number of accidents and fatalities caused by reckless and inconsiderate use of moible phones....people using them while at the controls of motor vehicles.. people walking head down,not looking where they`re going,while texting...etc etc.
At last someone has had the gumption to do something about this modern day scourge...and while I may suffer some degree of inconvenience,I welcome the ban with open arms....bring it on.
The ban commences four weeks from today.

I didn't realize that Apple have slashed the price of their ipod touch to £27.50 in four weeks time also. Apparantly lee evans is going to stand for mayor of london and that ferrari are producing a car for £1250 to compete with TATA motors for the world's cheapest car.
