It's a boy: updated with & new pics :)

Post by Mike Daytona600 »

Christopher Peter Parker was born at 11:47 on 10th March. 8lb 11oz. But he's not very well.

His heart rate had been going quite low and when he started coming it was found that is was because his cord was around his neck. He had also had alot of macomyum (stuff from the womb, including his poo) in his chest and didn't breath for about 2 mins. He also has a broken collar bone because his left shoulder got stuck so the right collar bone broke getting him out, they were in a hurry cos he wasn't breathing. They had to use the sucky thing to get him out quickly.

They've done a scan on his head (like what they use for scaning unborn babies) and apart from some brain swelling that should settle it SEEMS ok. They are also checking his electrical activity in his brain which also seems ok at the time I was told.

He is in an incumbator for now and I can't fault the care he is getting.

Otherwise all is ok and he is absolutly georgous. We are both very prowd.

Mel is ok but a bit sore.

Will put some pics up soon.
