Biker down, Torquay?

Post by TLS-Moose »

Went for a spin and ended up at Paignton this evening .... very busy 8) On the way back they had the Torquay bound dual carriageway shut at the Laws Bridge traffic lights, lots of cops and a couple of ambulances, and at least one biker being stretchered off

Hope he's OK :?

Blues and two's seemed to by flying around in all directions at various points this evening

Oh dear ... not good :( hope they're all ok!

Was a great turnout tonight .. not surprising I suppose, given the weather ... they were even having to park on the grass, not seen that for a while!! Caught up with Jay/Sue, Miler/AT, mark.mille and boyscout ... didn't see you there though Moose.

Had a bit of a near miss on the way home. Filtering past a few cars and a tractor rider decided to overtake me just as I was pulling out to overtake a car - I wasn't slow in deciding either, the bike in front of me had only just gone. He clipped my elbow and then cut straight across my front wheel. Bad enough having to deal with cars that can't see us but when another biker cuts you up it's :-x I think I may have said a naughty word or two or ten

I hope they're ok, if they was activity & were moving them off that's probably good news. :?

I had a close call same day, a car driver waved a lass across the road into my path & I had to do an emergency stop, I was so close to hitting her she had to steady herself against my left arm to stay on her feet. The car driver pulled alongside with a grin on her face & said "WOW, that was close haha!", HA f**kin HA indeed. Idiot.

Yeah saw this too about 9.15. Coppers everywhere, some dude laid out in the middle of the carriageway being attended. Lots of Harley clones pulled up on the central reservation so thought it was a biker down. Didnt want to stop and gawp though. Anyone hear anything post it up. Hope nothing serious. Biggest turnout Ive seen there too for a long time.
Cheers, Steve
