Are the tail lights with intergrated indicators legal?

Nope, the indicators are too close together for an MOT.
Just disconect them for the mot and put standard ones back on, just like exhausts number plates ect.

Re: Is this Legal in the UK.......
they look good but dont help peeps know where your going. i was admiring some on a r6 the other night yet the wife couldnt even see him indicate for the petrol station as there was very little difference between indicator and brake light. very dangerous idea with the poor quality of modern day drivers

What Deej says, If you got rear ended, i'm sure they would say your indicators weren't there or not working then your insurance company could use it as a get out of paying you clause for non compliant indicators or somesuch crap, you know what its like thse days.....

Hmm, yeh some good points, I saw one on a 636 in Sainsburys yesterday and it looked quite clear, he wasnt braking at the time though so i suppose when you brake the light over powers the light from the indicator and makes it harder to see

Not a 100% sure but even Busters sell these.
As to the legalities, have no idea.

In fairness, a lot of modern cars have their indicators within the headlight units, and at night, with the headlights on, the indicators are almost invisible unless you're right in front of the car
Plus, if the car is that close that it relies on seeing your indicators to prevent rear-ending you, then they're too close ..... plus, odds-on you'll be braking so the car shouldn't be that close anyway

From this video it looks as if the brake light is cancelled out every time the indicator flashes

Have fitted one on my bike. Although my brake light stays on when indicators flash.
The brake does dominate if using both. So try to indicate early before braking, if being followed.
Look good thou

Very grey area. Some MOT stations will pass them, some wwon't. Some Police will pull you for them, some won't.
I think there is something in construction and use regs that says something like indicators should be a set distance apart?? (not 100% sure of that)
Personally I wouldn't use them for the safety reasons mentioned by Deej/ Johnnyb
