TIME TO LEAVE THE SITE

Post by speedy(delboy) »

Well this has been on my mind now for the past 3 or 4 weeks and I think its time I left the site and let someone else take over as Admin.

The are a lot of reasons, but the main one is this poxy Llandow trip.

I am just fed up with people moaning and winging about paying, costs, people not paying, saying they will go and not then going etc. I dont think it helps with the death of my sister 1 day before Llandow last year so have that on my mind to.

Will see you all Friday, but after that, I dont know.

Cheers

Phil

Phil sorry to hear this news

Appreciate all the hard work you've done for the site. Instead of leaving completely why not step back and become a normal member and just enjoy the club/forum for what it is. Would hate to see you disappear completely

You sound a bit down, understandably so. Some people always whinge and it gets a bit waring especially when you are doing things for others benefit without reward. Don't worry about the shortfall, I can't see people letting you foot the bill, we will all cough up. Why not just let things rest a while and see how you feel in a week or twos time. As Deej says, take a back seat but don't go away.

Big thanks for organising, I've been looking forward to it. See ya tomorrow night or Friday. :)

I can totally understand your reasons as you've put a hell of a lot into the site, but id be pretty gutted if you went mate.
I know firsthand how crappy it is when youve got way too much sh!t on your plate to sort out and the death of loved ones on your mind too.
All i can say is what others have said and just take things easy for a while, stay around for the chat and rideouts and let someone else worry about organising stuff

Sorry you feel this way mate.

You said last year that you would not do Llandow again because of the hassel so you should have listened to yourself.

Wish I could help you with the numbers but as I have no bike and no time off I can't help you.

Sorry to hear this news Phil.
I really appreciate all you do for the site and would hate it for you to go completely, especially when you take the piss out of captain caveman   (Mike).
As said previously by Deej, why don't you just take a back seat for a while, until you make up your mind for definate.
Take care

This site will not be the same without ya Phil, let someone else have the Admin if people want llandow next year then let someone else have the hassle, just stay and keep your spirits up mate, I know you organised pub meets in barney and no burger turned up much, cos we were on the phone that night me on a fish quay in france and yuo in the pub waiting for people to turn up, i would have been there but a big lump of water was the problem

Actually I was tempted to post something like that

I was surprised when I saw you organising Llandow again because of the hassle in the past. It's always a pita organising stuff, especially on forums ... just take a back seat and be a normal (well ... ) member for a while. Don't take it so seriously ... and ignore the bitchiness that seems to flare up every now and then. Some people are just born to be miserable gits ... oh hang on ... you're one of them
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely
