Unfortunately for you guys its a very sports bike biased group

If I was to have another road bike it would be a supermoto like bondys ktm or the ccm equivalent. Its all you need for the cornish roads

I would love to ride the B3306 St Ives to St Just on my KTM. Driven it loads of times in the car.

Totally over-rated road, busy with tourists & coaches in the summer, covered in crap in the winter!! There are a few better roads nearby that aren't so well known - just ask (Adam HaynesVFR  ).

I was tempted to go the supermoto route but have settled on a sort of 'halfway house' with the Superduke, chuckable on narrow twisties, enough speed to worry sportsbikes on A roads etc plus you can still ride it up a gravel lane/field (oh yeah, and I'm too short for a 990SM).

I know where you are coming from.
Since I was made redundant and not driving all over the south west I miss a bike that can do the miles. To the point that I am thinking about seeing if I can find a swap for a 99/2000 R6.
Just a shame I cant have both.

Thats bad news.
Great bike. I was going to have one this year until my job went belly up.
Its a better ride than the new one.

When I say off roading, i went to the beach and the car park was grass. Never had so much fun fishtailing, spinning back wheel up.
