Car Thread.... Lexus IS 250.....Anyone got/had one?
My car is too small and need something with basically the same power but more space/comfortable/luxury.... My car is chav(05 Clio Sport) and I am not, so its got to go. Plus I've had to sort the exhaust out 6 times in 10 months but has done 30,000 miles without 1 major problem.

Its very rare to hear people slating a lexus. I'm almost certain that lexus are owned by toyota so reliability shouldn't be a issue

Lexus is owned by Toyota, and as Deej says rare to hear a bad word about them for reliability/funtionality, but like many Japanese cars cars they do most things very well, just with little "involvement" of the driver

yeah lexus is toyotas bling/chav arm,think it was launched to show what toyota could do if they wanted too when they werent concentrating on being the worlds largest car manufacturer

I like them.. but for the money I'd be looking at Audi A4 or BMW 325/330

My uncle has one. The Auto is very good and in sport mode shifts quickly.
I test drove a is 220d manual with my auntie and personally I thought the diesel was better. Try the diesel!!
