Stick it on A and have a laugh
B mode is for when it's dry but you're too scared
C mode is for wimps

Re: Gsxr 600 k8 help
My mate uses C mode to save fuel commuting and touring with his mate, laughs ass off when his mate's Duke drinks more fuel than his GSXR when they are going the same speed and the same riding. A mode is the way to goFunky wrote:Stick it on A and have a laugh

Re: Gsxr 600 k8 help
If no mode is selected I think it stays in A mode, I think the 1000 switches to A mode if you nail it and switches in a lower mode if you bumble along. It may just stay in A, can't remember as I didn't worry about that part of the bike when working on them.

Re: Gsxr 600 k8 help
I am that freind with the GSXR lol
A mode is 100% power from the engine
B mode is 75% power from the engine, however as Nik says this will jump to A mode if you are screaming the tits off the bike, but you realy have to be screaming the tits off it to jump as the power delivery is still fantastic
C mode is 50% power from the engine FULL STOP it will not jump to B or A no matter how much you push the bike, it will still do over a TONE! but it just takes a couple seconds more to get there.
C mode is really good on long jurneys great on saving fuel and you can still have fun however A is the best
If you need help setting up the REV light on the dash I am more than happy to help, its good when you worked in a dealership lol.
