hello!!!

Post by stoned pillock »

Just to say hi to all on the forum from a newbie. I've been riding since 1989 and have no real dislikes regarding bikes if its got an engine and 2 wheels its fine by me. For those of you interested the list of bikes i've owned so far is KMX125,RD350YPVS(stolen after expensive rebuild,I cried like a baby!!)replaced by an RD350lc with a hideous bikini fairing with twin cibie headlights ramair filters and it went like shit below 6000 and shit off a shovel above. This was fine in the summer but not so clever when communting from Banwell to Stogumber at weekends to work in the depths of winter.Took this one off the road and bought a mint LC (White and blue the best colour).

I was then a student at cannington college.This got nicked from the bike shed and the frame was found in a local fishing lake. Turns out the local toerag nicked it to fix his own LC which he then lobbed under a lorry shame he survived. I found this out years later so could not pay him a visit I also learned he was also involved in the theft of my power valve as well!! Anyway I still have the 1st LC which is awaitng my time and finances to restore. The next list of bikes came and went in the usual way without the help of any lowlifes the list continues;

Yam XJ550,FZR600,GSXR1100j (still got this one another project!!),triumph tiger 900 mk1,Canam Bombadier 250(still got it you guessed it another project), CCM604e supermoto (ace bike but it nearly killed me!!) Yam Thunderace, Fazer 1000 (2003 up for sale now) KTM 950 supermoto the current love of my life. Any way thats most of them I've a few bits and pieces lying around which could one day be bikes but I may bore you with that info in a later post you can all wake up now bye bye (-|

Don't remember any car keys? Must be a different party unless things got more interesting after we left :wink: :wink: Anyway thanks for the welcome just been out for a ride (on the bike!).Minehead, porlock,Simonsbath,Wheddon Cross ,Taunton,Bridgwater,Wedmore then back home to Banwell.Not too many bikes out yet but then I do tend to divert off the main roads a fair bit, the ktm likes the more interesting roads trouble is the bikes better than I'll ever be. Had a few moments of the old butt "twitching like a rabbits nose"(quote Brian Johnson "Rockers and Rollers) :80: Maybe a track day would help but after 20 odd years of riding I think I should ride within my limits instead of wishing I could get round that next bend a bit quicker??
