Hey!

Post by killerAdam »

Hello everyone!

I am Adam and I have just passed my full bike license and thought it would be a good idea to be a member of this forum as I want to get out on more bike rides! :D Currently I have a 1987 Honda CBR 750 Hurricane and a Aprilia RS125, but with the CBR I cannot find a restrictor kit for it! Therefore I'm looking at buying a Triumph Daytona 600, and then turning the CBR into a track day bike :ymdevil: Anyway, I thought I would introduce myself before commenting in any other threads! Oh and how many of you go to Loomies bike cafe?

Cheers

hi adam and welcome to swb

i see by your avatar tha you are in chandlers ford, i am guessing thats southampton way ??

you might find that loomies trips aren't that often as most of the site is based around the devon, cornwall and somerset direction.

good luck with the riding though and keep your eyes peeled for trackday ttrips and rideouts.

Hi Adam, I get over to Loomies occasionally

Its midway for meeting up with some mates over towards London (for them there Devon folk, thats a really really big place, with tall buildings and lots and lots of cars.... :p :)) ) Ace roads round there for playing on, gotta pick your time though cos the rozzers like em too

How did you find us btw?

That's my problem - wanna go out further; Devon sounds pretty good with all those roads ;) The bill are quite annoying, seeing my CBR 750 all alone out there makes me want to drive it all the time.. Unrestricted :( My Dad's friend/Colleague is on here - Scotty :) Want to start doing track days so I don't always act stupid on the roads B-)
Taking about track days, I hear there is one in Wales on the 15th of Sept - How do I book a place?

@SteveR3 I went to Thornden, now moved on to Peter Symonds College :D Chandler's Ford is fun with the Rec and Knightwood - but not too good for driving my bikes, Eastleigh have their own police station and coppers are always wanting to pull bikers over :/

Cheers
