hi all at swb... :)

Post by Thecelt »

hi guys.. thought id join up and try and hook up for rides, rallies, bike meets etc.. in between that horrible `work` stuff...
ive been around the hills near wellington for around 3 years now.. got some great roads round here.. i love cruising through the backcountry lanes (with finger hovering over the horn most of the time),even if they are covered in cows#*it and tractor mud most of the time..can be a bit dodgy on an old zzr600,but its ratty and i dont care if it grazes a hedge or two..
drop me a line if your nearby and going for a spin..:) im not an aggressive`knee down`style rider, but still enjoy a bit of throttle when conditions and the time is right..

i will be doing the `santas on a bike` run again this year if anyone fancies a laugh and looking an idiot for a good cause..
cheers gord.

ride safe(ish)..:)

Not sure the ZZ-R 600 is the best bike for country lanes. Did you consider a vanvan?

Greetings

Ok.. Will decide nearer the time..
And Martin, i was riding a custom vmax for 12 years up till august..so compared to that the ratty zzr is the perfect tool for livin round here... Light, cheap, zippy, stable in the bends and easy to work on.. Should it end up in a ditch...
Have also ridden to Scotland, France, Belgium, lux and Southern Germany this year.. Might be a bit boring on a van van!
Also Meant to ask, do any of you guys belong to M.A.G? I'm going to pop over to there meeting for a chat and a beer in Taunton tomorow..

Hi there and welcome to the site! I thought I'd let you know I'm in MAG ( just recently joined after about 20 years of meaning too :)) ) but being down in Cornwall I won't be heading to any Taunton meets ;) .
