Thats the result :( Engine is knackered, rest of bike is fine. Not sure what i can do though. Not really worth repairing it, buying a new engine is about 1k all in, and this engine had 13k on it, 2nd hand im looking at 25k plus. Better start looking for a new bike i think :(

What bike was it buddy,
Sorry to hear about it but at least it's easy to diagnose,

Would a cheaper option be to buy an engine with maybe outer cases damaged/ missing or some other type of replaceable damage then make one good engine out of the two? I found a Bandit 400 engine on ebay a few years back that was going cheap because it was missing outer cases, I just swapped my old parts over and had a good engine for peanuts! Also 25K on a TT600 engine is fine as long as its been serviced regularly. My Gixxer 750 is 20 years old with 40k plus on the clock and is running lovely :-) !
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!
