Dorset twins rider

Post by Gimlet »

Hi all.
Pretty regular on a couple of other bike forums but new to this one. Found it when Googling a bike event.
I ride a Ducati 1098 Streetfighter and a KTM 990SMT, both modded and uncorked. Love em both and all things two wheeled.
I'm from the Blandford area but I get about a bit and I'm always up for rideouts, meets and all bike stuff so thought a regional forum might be a cool thing to be involved in.
Hope to bump into some new people and discover some new places.

Hi ya and welcome to Swb.

There's Rideouts popping up here and there. If you fancy a silly one look up up RTTB in the Rideout section.

Trackdays? They are well attended.

Feel free to post up rides in your area, you never know, some may join you.

Don't forget to post up some pics of those bikes.

Very much up for track days. Couple of mates keep making noises about it but it never seems to happen. I'm a track virgin but I'm very ken to get started on the Duc. I do have a bit of a noise issue though. It has open Termis, the engine isn't standard and neither is the mapping. Baffles aren't an option so Pembrey seems the best option for a public track day.
But as I say, I'm a track virgin....
