Post by layne »

Going to Donington on 2nd Oct and want to set-up a GSX750 K7 before hand so only have to fine tune at the track. :)

Would anyone have any data or seen any recommendation. :?:

Age is your man, he has the same bike and he did some track days on his.

Only problem is, he is a bit of a wankker to ask and he may be big nosed - ops did I really just say that

Don't ask me I just get on and ride the bloody thing.

All I have done is backed off the damping and rebound on the rear. That was just at bumpy LLandow, used stock settings at Cadwell and it was fine.

No not mine (had you worried for a moment though?)

It’s for a friend that’s coming with us :)

Unfortunately I’m still on a 12 year YZF

Looks like I’ll have to ride it a bit harder now

Don’t want to risk it again. Was nice to let it stretch its legs though.

The YZF750 was meant for cheap trackdays (low risk) which the MV isn’t. Even transporting it in the van left a small scuff on the bellypan.

Thanks for the offer of settings however, I have some 750 K6 data from Funky’s link which seem ok as they have the same amount of clicks and similar geometry which is a good start.
