Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

tooo right let someone else get dirty we might break a nail or something
Well it was obvious that Bridgestone had the edge this year. You can't go denying that.
Rossi's bike was slower then half the fields last race and just look at Edwards.
I guess the old saying goes
You can't ride a good bike on crap tyres but you can ride a crap bike on good tyres.
At least if his rubber is the same as most the others he will work round his slow bike and do what he does best.
KICK ARSE

Rossi hints at Ducati move in near future ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 086898.stm
Of course it ain't him. He doesn't want to lose on purpose.Rab wrote:Mmmmmm
When rossi winning "im the best racer im great ect ect"
when rossi losing "my bikes crap my tyres are crap its not me"
It obvious that there are probs and being the man he is he has done his best to work round them and got alot more points then Edwards did.
He hasn't lost it and time will tell when he returns to win the championship again. That will p*ss on everyones cornflakes won't it.

racers come n go they cant be the best all the time can they
you compare rossi and edwards, rossi had 4 wins + 4 podiums he started the season well nothing wrong with his bike and tryes then
look at Pedrosa and Haydon on the same machines but Pedrosa got a lot more points than Haydon
when racers are winning its great when there not they blame everything but there selfs
I honestly think the problem was with the Bike and/or tyres this year.
Yes he's made mistakes, every racer does, dont forget his bike is not the quickest, so has to push even harder to stay in front but also had alot of engine failures, dispite all these and DNF's on quite a few races he still only lost second by one point.
Take the last race for example, has a big off in practice and brakes some bones, still races but in 2nd last, takes a few laps to get going but then puts together the same lap times as the guys at the front, he's upto 12th which would had secured 2nd place....until his bike breaks down. What else could he possibly do? I would had thrown a major hissy fit but he still kept his cool.
Also, I think the Hondas started off as poor as the other bikes (excluding Ducati naturally) but were probably the most improved over the season. I dont think the Yamaha improved anywhere as near as much. The last few races both Repsol Hondas were up there in qualifing.

hes in a no win situation, if he wins it next year it'll be the tyres and not rossi himself. for the first time i can remember the bike rags (mcn) are all actually saying its the bike not the tyres that are rossi problems. i mean kurtis roberst was quicker through the speed traps than rossi n edwards but hes nowhere near their level of ability. yamaha eed to pull their finger out as honda did,i mean it tokk 17 races to finally see someone overtake stoner in a straight line and that was the developed honda.
yamaha got complacent about rossi being able to win on a poor bike like 2004 its just this year the yam's been shit not poor, the tyres havent helped the cause but the fault in my eyes lies at yamaha's door and nobody else's
