You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

I have been so lazy with rideouts this year.

I guess riding everyday its not so much of a big thing as to someone who only gets out on thier bike just at weekends.

Years ago i never missed one. theres another new years resolution to add.

Need to make more effort for rideouts as i won't be hungover or still p*ssed

The roads between Dartmouth and Halwell are pretty dirty and have been damp all day. There is increased heavy truck traffic due to the building work on the new supermarket and that coupled with "farmer palmer's" mud has made the roads really dirty It has just rained hard here so they are going to be wet and dirty in the morning. Your bikes are going to need a good wash afterwards, my SP2 is staying in the garage, dry and warm.

Up for it tomorrow, a bit of light rain here at mo. Could do with it pouring down and wash the bloody salt off. I know it helps during sub-zero temperatures, but above zero only attracts the moisture in the air to the road.. A week of dry weather and we have wet, slippery roads……… ..need to find untreated b-roads. will log in tomorrow to check if on, could be 25 degrees ,nice and sunny

In Poole at the mo 0915hrs here, i slipped on ice and nearly fell on my butt crossing the road.
I'm working anyway, however i'd give it another hour before thinking of taking the bike out.

Here in Dartmouth the roads are damp from last nights rain and there has been a sharp frost, ice on car windscreens. If you do venture out watch out for black ice on the roads.
