what about the rock oil xrp as thats been getting good reviews on race n track bikes
Hydrocracked (chemical purification/convertion process)mineral oils are legally sold as synthetic in the uk, when really they are not a true synthetic as they are petroleum based (mineral). True synthetics are made from PAO (polyalphaoelfins), these are man constructed to do the job, where as the mineral base oils are converted to do the job.

10w-40 semi is fine, if you want better then 10w-40 synthetic.

Re: Oil advice and recommendations here
Is there a massive difference between say Castrol GPS/other major brand 10/40 Semi and say Halfords own brand 10/40 Semi?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Oil advice and recommendations here
The Castrol GPS 10w-40 is a good quality semi, the trouble with home brands is they are built to a very low cost, this does not mean the oil as such more the additives and polymors etc within the oil will be much lower quality.
Always best to stick to a reputale well known brand.

I love the smell of sesame seed oil.
I also love the smell of Napalm in the morning... Smells like victory.
Cheers for the advice before.
