JT was just trying to hard with all the pressure the british media put him, they build em to hero status and put too much pressure on. we were watching form a hospitality unit at redgate with tele and commentary so able to listen to the commentaors and watch the box. he struggled to get the bike set up in the dry on friday and then lost a day with saturdays rain but we all knew it would be rainig on saturday for days before hand. toseland looked to be struggling and the st georges flag leathers were a bad move too,bit more pressure to do well and from 16th that was never going to happen,he thought he'd have to get a stunning start to get a good result but if he'd followed lorenzo's idea and took it steadily he might have had top 8 and some hero status instead he tried too hard and highsided mid corner, all the tyres would be similair tempature and there was no contact from anyone else so its got to be rider error.big shame really as the atmosphere up at redgate died then which was a shame after what redding did, just hope that out media dont ruin him too

the only downside was apart from the last 6 laps with redding there was no atmosphere at redgate at all, probably the worst motogp atmosphere i can remember in the last 10yrs but what a difference the atmosphere was with redding, proper hairs standing up stuff.
one marker to consider is ben spies never ridden a gp,never ridden donington, rarely rides in the rain and he qualified 8th in front of pedrosa as there was no pressure on him,its mst be difficult being JT and having all that extra pressure put on you
stoner did well but didnt win by as a big a margain as i was expecting, pedrosa was a bigger threat too,i though he'd sneak 3rd but didnt expect him to be battling with rossi for a few laps, well until he went into fuel saving mode
redding was just awesome and should definetly be one for the future if he keeps his feet on the ground which with his grounding and success hes had so far he should do. bradley was a little disappointing,he should be further up the field on the polaris world bike,it a full spec aprillia and a notch up on what reddings riding.
credit must also go to donington for the traffic,as tom said the traffic to get out was very easy,i hobbled from redgate back to the car andonce in the car it took us 15mins to be on the a42 and heading for home. was home by 8.30 which was fantastic. the facililites seemed a little better and there was more choice of food and drink and places to sit on the infield.
